I have over 15 years of experience as a healthcare professional, having worked as an ICU nurse, an occupational health nurse, a public health nurse, and a medical volunteer overseas.
While working as a nurse and a certified Occupational Health and Safety Officer, I also completed graduate studies in Global Health. I am currently based overseas, working at an international organization’s overseas office, where I am responsible for health management and support for staff and related personnel.

Throughout my career in Japan and abroad — in hospitals, workplaces, and field settings — I have repeatedly witnessed what truly becomes difficult in emergency or unexpected situations.

I have personally experienced the anxiety of becoming ill overseas: visiting medical facilities where the language is different, struggling to obtain familiar medications, and dealing with physical exhaustion caused by long-distance travel and environmental changes.

Because of these real-life experiences, this blog does not focus on textbook-style medical information. Instead, I share practical, experience-based insights on travel and daily life from the perspectives of safety, health, and peace of mind.

This blog is for:
✔️ People living abroad or with overseas travel experience
✔️ Those planning to travel to Japan or other countries
✔️ Anyone who wants to enjoy travel while minimizing health risks and unnecessary stress

As a healthcare professional, I aim to share practical preparation tips and realistic, no-pressure travel advice — so that you won’t be caught off guard simply because you “didn’t know.”

I hope the information here helps make your travels and life abroad safer, healthier, and more enjoyable.
